kids in the hall

For my friend B’s birthday, I got us tickets to see the Kids in the Hall. Nearing 50 (or 250 if you add up all their ages), they’re still amazingly funny and managed to dust off some old characters (the Kathies, Buddy Cole, Gavin, the Chicken Lady, and of course, the head crusher) and pull in some new comedy as well.

Kevin McHale of the Celtics on Cheers

I’m a big fan of Cheers, which was on tv an amazing 11 seasons, and managed to remain funny almost all the way through.

What do you think?

Cribbage CertificateCongratulations to all of the players and spectators on this beautiful afternoon at Spiderhouse. We all had a lot of fun, and I really think that you are all winners!

But in a real, more truthful way, Matt is the winner, with a great streak of games into 1st place. Larsson placed second, and I came into a close 3rd place.

We all had a great time and a lot of fun playing all four rounds of double-elimination play. Hope to see you when we play next time!

Look at me! I can drum!
